Airside Driving Authority (ADA) Instructions for Applicants

If you or your company needs an Airside Driving Authority (ADA), follow these steps:

Request an ADA:

Notify us of your request either in person or via email at airportadmin@rrc.qld.gov.au

Provide Required Information:

Share the following details so we can create your profile in Beakon: Company Name, Supervisor Name and Email Address, Applicant's Name and Email Address.

Once your profile is created, a link will be sent to you. Use this link to complete the ADA PowerPoint Presentation and accompanying quiz.

Once the induction is completed at the end of the presentation, you will find the Airside Driving Handbook, which you must acknowledge by ticking a confirmation box to confirm you’ve read it.

For Existing Beakon Profiles:

If you already have a Beakon profile, we will allocate the ADA Induction to your name. You can then log in and complete it.

Submit the Application Form:

After completing the induction, you must:

  1. Fill out the ADA Application Form (provided by us).
  2. Provide a copy of your ASIC and Driver’s Licence.
  3. Have your Authorised Signatory (Supervisor/Manager) sign the form to confirm you have the required skills to drive airside.

Receive Your ADA:

Once all the above steps are completed, we will print your ADA for you to collect.
